What's not working today

  • Asana and Monday charge per seat for what's really a one-planner show.
  • Spreadsheets crash on the iPhone when the venue Wi-Fi is bad.
  • You forgot a vendor confirmation because it lived in a thread, not a list.
  • Run-of-show docs in Google Docs lag during load-in.
  • Switching tools every event because the client uses something different is exhausting.

How Milestones fixes that

For event planners

A project per event

Each wedding, conference, or activation is a project. Milestones are the planning phases — Booking, Vendor confirmations, Run-of-show, Day-of, Wrap. The active milestone is whichever phase you're in.

Works offline on-site

Venue Wi-Fi is always bad. Local-first storage means your run-of-show is always there — concrete loading dock, basement ballroom, festival field. Sync resumes the moment you're back online.

Tag vendors, status, urgency

Tag tasks `vendor`, `client`, `urgent`, or by event type. Pull up every vendor confirmation across every upcoming event in one tap.

Native on the phone you actually carry

Day-of, you're not at a Mac. Milestones is native on iPhone — fast taps, big touch targets, dark mode for backstage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What about clients and vendors — do they get access?

No, by design. Milestones is your operations tool. Clients keep getting decks and emails; vendors keep getting POs. You get the one place that knows where every event is in its timeline.

Can I template a 'standard wedding' or 'standard conference'?

Not as one-click templates yet, but most planners spin up a project from a recent past event by hand — five minutes, and the milestone backbone is consistent across every event.

Day-of, how does this hold up?

Open the active milestone (Day-of), see every task in order. Mark them done as the event runs. The Mac app is great for the call sheet; the phone is great for the floor.

Multi-day events?

Make a milestone per day. Tasks under each are the run-of-show for that day. The today view across the project shows you exactly what's next.

I have an assistant — can they see this?

Single-user by design. Most planner-assistant pairs split projects (assistant owns vendor coordination project, planner owns client-facing project) or keep their lists separate and sync verbally each morning.

Is there a Pro plan?

Free for personal use. An optional Pro upgrade unlocks the project archive (great for past events you want to reference) and custom icons.

Run the day. Don't let the day run you.

Free to download. Works offline on-site. Private iCloud. For planners who'd rather have a clear timeline than a fancy dashboard.
